We are happy to announce that Assembly Member Victor Manuel Perez has joined SB 1005 (Lara) as a co-author! This brings the total number of co-authors to 16 along with the original author Senator Ricardo Lara.
The strong list of supporters is a testament to the importance of breaking down the discriminatory barrier that people who are undocumented face in accessing health care. The Affordable Care Act has increased access to quality, low or no-cost healthcare to millions of people, but millions more will still be uninsured. As we near the deadline for health care open enrollment through Covered California we will continue to fight for #Health4All and to make sure that we all #GetCovered!
